Jamie Reid Exhibition Flyer Project

Jamie Reid is a British artist and graphic designer known for his iconic work with the punk rock band the Sex Pistols in the 1970s. He is famous for creating some of the most recognizable and provocative album artwork and promotional materials in the history of rock and punk music. His work played a significant role in shaping the visual identity of the punk movement.
Jamie Reid's most well-known work was done in collaboration with the Sex Pistols, one of the pioneering punk bands. He designed the band's logo, which features the Queen's silhouette with a safety pin through her lips, and the ransom note-style lettering that was used for the band's promotional materials.
For this academic project, I had the task of creating a pamphlet intended for display in a museum. The pamphlet's purpose was to introduce visitors to an exhibition showcasing the work of the designer.
These pamphlets contained a concise overview of the designer's life and works and also a choosen project to showcase the style of the designer. My choice for this project was "Anarchy in the U.K.," which happened to be my personal favorite project created by the designer.
I incorporated the unique textures found in the artist's work directly into the pamphlet's design.
This project was truly enjoyable. it was fun to get to know a new designer and it's unique style.
THANK YOU! :)
